Cookie Notice

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser local storage and session storage, and software development kits (SDKs) in mobile apps. Some are set by us (first-party) and some by providers we use (third-party). Some last only for your visit (session) and some stay until they expire or you delete them (persistent).

Strictly necessary (always on). Needed for the Service to work and to keep it secure, so they do not require consent. They include sign-in and session cookies (Supabase authentication), security challenges (Cloudflare Turnstile, passkey and wallet sign-in challenges), language selection, load balancing, and the record of your cookie choices.

Functionality (optional). Remember your preferences, such as theme, sidebar layout, chart type, sound settings, privacy view and recently used options.

Measurement (optional). Help us understand how the Service is used and how it performs, so we can improve it. We use OpenPanel (product analytics), Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, and Layers (campaign attribution). On our landing site, we also store the campaign parameters and referral code you arrived with for up to seven days so we can attribute sign-ups.

Measurement and referral attribution (optional). With your measurement consent, we use analytics and campaign and referral storage, including referral identifiers retained for up to seven days.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow advertising networks to track you on our websites.

Our mobile apps use SDKs for similar purposes: OneSignal (push notifications), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and Layers (attribution and analytics). On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking that requires it. You can change this in your device settings at any time.

• Cookie banner and settings. Optional measurement, attribution and preference storage remain disabled until you select the relevant category. You can reject optional categories or withdraw consent through Cookie preferences (in the web app under Settings, Cookies, or the link in our website footer) as easily as you grant it. Refusal does not prevent access to the core Service.
• Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
• Mobile settings. You can limit ad tracking and reset your device's advertising identifier in your device settings.

We may update this Cookie Notice when the technologies we use change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions: hello@bu.finance.
