Team
Use your Team for itemized business invoices, customer emails and invoice management.
Personal
Use Personal for a simple payment request. Add an amount and share a link with the person paying you.
Screenshots use fictional examples in English. Your interface follows your selected language.
Start in the right workspace
Switch to your Team, then select New invoice from Business Actions or the Invoices widget. You can also press Command or Control + I.
Check the workspace before entering details: its business information and payment destination belong to that invoice.
Add the customer and what you sold
Review your business details, invoice number, issue and due dates. Select a customer with a name and valid email; add a project if needed.
Add a description, quantity and price to every item. Check currency, tax, discount, notes and the total in the preview. BUFI tells you if the selected currencies cannot be sent together.
Save a draft and come back
Select Save Draft if you are not ready to send. Meaningful changes also save automatically while you edit; wait for the saved confirmation before leaving.
Open the Draft invoice again to keep editing. Give priced items a description so the draft can be saved. When closing with unsaved changes, keep editing or confirm that you want to discard them.
Send, share or download
Check the preview, then send the invoice. Copy its payment link to share with the customer. After issuing it, you can download the PDF from the invoice details.
An invoice being created does not guarantee its email was delivered. If delivery fails, check the customer email and share the link; avoid creating the same invoice again.
Follow payment and manage outstanding invoices
Use the Invoices and Bills views to find documents you sent or received. Team invoice statuses are Draft, Unpaid, Overdue, Paid and Canceled; activity shows when a customer viewed the invoice.
For an unpaid or overdue invoice, an authorized teammate can send a reminder. Payment made elsewhere goes through confirmation before it is recorded as Paid. A recurring schedule creates future invoices; it does not automatically debit the customer.
The payment link shows the methods available for that invoice. Wallet payments and, when available, card checkout depend on the currency and destination. Follow confirmation in the invoice instead of treating checkout as proof of payment.
Use the available actions to cancel an outstanding invoice or return it to draft. Paid invoices are locked against changes; deletion asks for confirmation.
Just requesting a personal payment?
Switch to Personal and choose New invoice. Set a title, amount and currency; the customer email and note are optional. You need a Personal wallet to receive payment.
Create the request, then copy and share its link. Personal requests do not send an invitation email. Follow Sent, Accepted, Paid or Canceled in the list; you can cancel while it is Sent or Accepted.
Need a hand?
Send or save is unavailable
Check your workspace access, customer name and email, described items and positive amounts. Correct any currency warning, then try again.
The customer did not receive an email
Check the email and delivery feedback. Open the existing invoice and copy its link. Personal requests are shared by link, without an invitation email.
The customer says they paid, but the invoice is unpaid
Check payment activity and confirmation. If payment happened outside BUFI, submit the payment details for review. Do not resend payment just because confirmation is still pending.
